# Bridge Tokens

### **What is a Bridge?**

Bridge is a smart contract that connects two independent blockchain networks, allowing digital assets to move securely between them. It acts as a gateway, enabling you to transfer a token from one chain to a different one. For example, a bridge lets you move assets like $USDC from a network like Polygon to Chiliz Chain so you can use them within the FanX ecosystem.
